For this mood board, we are featuring earth tones rugs. We are taking inspiration from the art of pottery. The concept of pottery is one of the oldest human inventions dating back to 29,000–25,000 BC. Pottery is the art of forming objects such as plates, vases, sculptures, etc., out of clay.
Like the earthy green and brown color commonly found in pottery, we recolored ege carpets’ Delta pattern to be the soft canvas for our mood board. The cylindrical blobs of clay that you start with usually come in warm and neutral earth tones. We used blush pink, brick red, tan-brown, cream, and olive green as our primary palette. Similarly, we used earthy tones, including tan brown and olive green in our carpet pattern, shaped to look like a cylindrical hexagon from a top angle. These geometrical shapes resemble the organic pottery that overlaps each other in pottery and plates’ inspiration images.
For our material mood board material, we use beautiful materials that complement our Delta earth tone rugs at the background, including the Dekton Blanc Concrete by Cosentino, a minimal marble textured white gradient pattern tile, the Maderno Travertine by Materials Marketing, Dover by Cambria, Pullman by Brentano, Lincoln center by Wolf-Gordon, Reform a new wave ocean by ege carpets, and finally the Mechanical terracotta by design and direct source.
With ege Carpets’ Easy Recolor Program, you can easily recolor and visualize existing designs for your hotel, hospitality, office, or restaurant carpet. The entire selection of designs is available as area rugs and broadloom, with additional options in carpet tile. We have various color and scale options for broadloom carpet and carpet tiles for this beautiful mood board design. If you like any of our methods, please feel free to contact one of our team members through our chat or email feature.
