John Carr is the architect responsible for this gorgeous masterpiece outside Middleton Tyas. The manor dates back to 1777 and is a bespoke project for George Hartley Esquire.
Today, the magnificent mansion features a rustic farmhouse interior design and is a home for the Allison family. However, they don’t only keep the beauty of this structure for themselves. The lovely farmhouse and gorgeous scenery are available for rent for weddings, private events, and filming. The hotel’s restaurant and bar settle in a gorgeous building next to the main house, which used to be a coach house for horses and carriages. Today, the structure is a luxurious restaurant, and a bar offers a fine dining experience.

Rebecca Tappin is an architect and the creative director responsible for turning the rural mansion into a luxury hotel. She did a perfect job in complementing the Georgian architecture with decor and furnishings.
