Restaurant interior and food in perfect balance at Helena Adentro

Helena Adentro 5 Talk Carpet

Tucked away from the busy tourist streets of Salento, Filandia offers a unique experience for those willing to explore the culture and gastronomy of Colombia. The charming town hidden in the mountains amazed us with the narrow streets, surrounded by vibrant buildings. Every house has a rustic wooden terrace that offers a magnificent look over the valley.

Filandia’s charm

The picturesque town nestles in the heart of Colombia’s coffee region, surrounded by epic scenery. It is a less touristic spot meaning that you can explore local life without the crowds. We went to the Helena Adentro restaurant, a prominent place. The restaurant interior reflects the town’s charm and vibrance, offering a cozy spot for exploring the local cuisine.

Helena Adentro: Fusion of design and culinary experience

The restaurant’s story is as delightful as its lively interior. Alejandro and Jane are a couple from New Zealand that started this business from scratch. They partnered up with their friend and submitted a proposal at a national contest, which brought them the funds to get started. In fact, they started with a stove they borrowed from Alejandro’s mom. Today, they have a modern open kitchen equipped with professional appliances.

Tapas are high in demand on their menu. These appetizers come with a few portions per plate so that you can share them with your friends. We love how the tapas highlight the social aspect of food and bring people together. The tasty tapas served by the friendly staff was excellent. The presentation never failed to impress us, as well as the flavors. We had the chance to try authentic Choripán, a traditional sausage sandwich. The sausages are hot off the grill and served in a crunchy bun, with a drizzle of chimichurri for extra flavor. Every single ingredient is local and organic.

We were so amazed to find out that every single thing on the plate is prepared in-house. The team cooks everything in their charming kitchen with the utmost attention to detail, from the aromatic sauce to the crunchy bun.

Lively interior

The restaurant interior has a lively atmosphere, featuring a Boho-chic vibe. Every single corner steals your attention with its vibrant spirit. The mural with a neon sign will welcome you to try Colombia’s delicacies and enjoy the lively restaurant interior.

The restaurant interior comes with an abundance of colors and patterns. The bar features a bold combination of bright colors, reminiscent of Filandia’s lively spirit. The detail-rich mural complements the relaxed vibe of this space. The dining room features intriguing tile flooring. The vibrant pattern comes in a deep red tone, with a repeating circle pattern that adds a touch of visual interest. We love how the flooring complements the eclectic vibe of the restaurant interior.

It is no secret that Paris has been the capital of fashion since the seventeenth century. The city has been the playground for prestigious designers and couture brands like Chanel, Dior, and Saint Laurent. Today the Parisian style is not only an aesthetic choice but a philosophy. It embraces elegance, timelessness, and slow responsible fashion. The focus is on the cut and the quality of the materials. No fluff or excessiveness with a less is more approach. And what better way to understand Parisian fashion than to visit a museum dedicated to it.

For more than 70 years, the house has been crafting magical couture pieces in their atelier at 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris. Christian Dior has made this location a legendary address since the first collection in 1947. Behind its new flagship, the House of Dior inaugurates a permanent exhibition in an extraordinary gallery, independently of its boutique. Mr. Dior wanted to be an architect; the building and the museum pay him a beautiful tribute today.

The staging is astonishing. A circular staircase at the entrance showcases 452 dresses and 1,422 accessories, all 3D printed. Bags, shoes, perfumes, and small objects: so many testimonies of the Dior style materialized to elaborate this Diorama.
