We introduce you to Reform Transition by ege Carpets, a gradient carpet tile collection. A unique concept designed by Manganese Editions that blends sustainability with luxury. This wonderful collection is inspired to integrate natural eco-friendly materials into a modern carpet tile. Backed by Ecotrust and Cradle to Cradle Certified, the carpet tiles use recycled plastic bottles that transform into felt backing materials. Econyl® yarns have been incorporated from fishing nets to combat plastic pollution in the ocean. In addition to that, the collection is Green Label Plus certified and qualifies for LEED credits. That means that our products installed guarantee excellent air quality.
The Transition Mix tiles are an innovative addition to ege’s floor design tools. It allows flexibility and color variation when choosing carpet tiles. This is a fantastic way to create gradient carpet transitions with carpet tiles. What a way to revamp a space, defining areas and making it super trendy. With the Reform Transition mixed color carpet tiles, clients can choose multiple colors as a combination to show a smooth flow of color blend transition across the floor. For example, if the client decides the colors light green and light grey, the carpet design will start with a light grey tone and slowly transition to a darker green, then back to a light green tone by using natural layers to blend the colors in between.
Love and care for the environment motivate this collection, through all the recycling efforts and practices in their message. Reform Transition uses organic colors to portray the seasonal transition phases of a plant life cycle. There are three designs to choose from: Seed, Leaf, and Fibre.
Seed
The first is the Seed design. The Seed design reflects the beginning stage of a plant. When multiple seeds land into the ground and start planting roots, it creates these little speckles in the soil. The design is decorated in porous shapes that imitate the image of a plant seed. There are seven colors available in three organic color palettes, including shades of green, gray, and black.
leaf
Leaf is the second design of the Transition Collection. It beautifully portrays the leaf’s transitional phases of a plant. With an appearance more like clusters, the design makes it feel like you are walking on a pile of foliage.
Fibre
Lastly, Fibre is a pattern that mimics the last seasonal cycle of a plant: when it loses its leaves and turns into a withered and wilted skeleton of a plant. This process is reflected in the carpet through the sharp block-like patterns throughout. With brighter tones to choose from, it signifies a place for a new life to emerge.
Just as the leaves shift color as the seasons change, ege Carpets depicts the foliage’s colors through the Transition Mix gradient carpet tile options. The grey, olive stone, brown, golden, and copper tones are available in different color palettes and reflect the different shades of a leaf’s life cycle. The best part about all three designs is that it comes in carpet tiles and carpet planks. This is incredibly useful, in defining distinct areas and marking traffic flow throughout the space. This collection will truly make it feel like you are walking on the grass outside.
