Lake Atitlan is a beautiful lake that sits in a massive volcanic crater in Guatemala. It is also recognized as one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Around 84 thousand years ago, Lake Atitlan was created through a volcanic eruption. That explosion left a gigantic crater in the earth that fills up throughout the years. Interestingly, the lake retains water from its nearby rivers and is not connected to the ocean. From an aerial view, you can see the Volcano San Pedro’s top along with the organic pattern lake.
The Mayan people heavily influence Lake Atitlan and is popular among tourists as a national park. The sun always hits the crystal waters and creates beautiful wavy patterns that sparkle in the sun. Framing the lake are volcanos that help reflect the beautiful hues on the lake’s surface.
The whole setting of Lake Atitlan inspires us to transform our existing Alabast carpet. Our Alabast carpet design by ege turns into a pattern that also looks like the ripples of the crystal blue lake. The Alabast is a natural and organic pattern for the interior space that will make you feel like you are swimming in Lake Atitlan. As part of our Highline Express Nature Collection, this carpet reflects natural elements such as wood, water, and sand into carpet designs.
For our material board, we use the Alabast organic carpet as our background. We use contract materials, including Panno di Dolce and Moroccan, a glazed tile in a beautiful cobalt blue. Rizo Terrazzo is a porcelain tile with embedded stone details. In Pinnacle, we use a jewel-like geometric fresco pattern in a neutral beige. In Leather Essentials Cowhide, we use a turquoise velvet-like suede material. Lastly, we add complementing materials Static, Pattern 38, Painted Trim, Juniper, and Brownstone.
With our recolor program, you can recolor our organic pattern any way you want. We offer various pattern options in broadloom carpet, commercial area rugs, and carpet tiles. There are thousands of carpet patterns to choose from, including abstract, modern, and organic carpet designs. We love personalizing carpets, so please contact one of our team members through the chat button or our contact page.
