We are mesmerized by Kenneth Ize’s official debut at Paris Fashion Week. This season he presents his elegant, serene tunics collection. The Austrian-Nigerian fashion designer incorporates Nigerian Asoke fabric to create his clothing, which is getting the whole world talking. Influenced by workwear, he implements men’s tailored suits, carpenter pants, and striped miniskirts into his brand. Our materials palette translates the spirit behind his look and gives center stage to our large striped carpet.
Ize blends his African culture with eastern techniques. He works with Asoke weavers from Nigeria to revive the weaving method brought back from ancient times. All of his clothing is carefully handcrafted and embroidered into beautiful vibrant garments. As a tribute to his mother, who creates custom outfits with Viennese lace, his collection features orange and green lace tunics and suits accessorized with matching fringe bags.
Therefore, we are recoloring ege Carpets’ existing Sunshade carpet design into a palette filled with lighter color tones for the spring season. The Sunshade is a part of our Easy Recolor Graphic collection, featuring bold patterns in attractive color options.
Our large striped carpet mimics the beautiful Asoke weaved tunics that Kenneth Ize features in his collection. The multicolored stripes are a playful addition to an interior space. Which makes it perfect for any office, hotel, or restaurant space. At ege carpets, our materials are Cradle To Cradle certified and many use recycled Econyl® yarns.
