Designer Porte Jacquemus amazes us with his new SS21 L’Amour collection. The collection features menswear and womenswear and is streaming by a wheat field in the French Vexin Regional Natural Park. He uses sustainable and lightweight materials to create his clothing, making the apparel a closet essential for spring and summer seasons. We’re designing a matching runways carpet with our cooking-themed carpet print.
This collection screams classic Jacquemus. He includes slip dresses, thigh-high skirts, Parisian crop tops, high-waist trousers, and fitted-jackets paired with shorts. The color palette of the collection uses classic neutral tones such as grey, beige, black, and whites. He blends a professional business style with a casual look, making the clothing suitable for both work and the home.
Look number 13 of the collection inspires us explicitly to create this custom pattern. The look is referencing home, covering a classic button-down shirt with images of utensils, ceramics, and tabletop linens. Our custom carpet print translates the home motifs that Jacquemus uses in his dress shirt. With our beige tweed-like background which, resembles the wheat fields.
