Welcome back to another issue of Talk Carpet Magazine! This time we travel all the way to South East Asia to visit the “Pearl of the Orient Sea”; the Philippines. That’s right, We’re talking about a tropical destination with a laid-back vibe and a rich culture that is sure to delight even the most seasoned traveler.
In this issue, we’ll be exploring some of our favorite places, restaurants, cafes and shops—and showcasing what makes each of them so special. We’ll also feature the vibrancy of the Philippines in its infrastructure, artistry and colourful modes of transportation: the jeepney. For our mood boards and custom patterns, we have taken inspiration from the unique architecture reflecting Brutalist Interiors and Spanish colonial design — a fusion of Asian and European design, cobblestone streets and palatial homes.
