Luxury fashion designers feature a wide range of styles during Fashion Week. From bold and daring designs to casual and sustainable, there are many transformations to fashion this Spring-Summer season. Kym Ellery uses eco-friendly materials in her new 2021 spring collection. She uses only ten pieces of fabric in production when creating her garments.
By collaborating with upcycle Amsterdam designer Duran Lantink, Ellery upcycles materials into her clothing to prevent waste. Lantink is famous for using garments from prior season luxury brands to stitch onto his new designs. Ellery uses Lantink’s chop shop process to sew old clothes from different brands into new materials. The reform process creates punky and avant-garde designs that are also wonderful for the environment.
We are specifically in love with Ellery’s graffiti print coat premiering as the second in her collection. The shiny leather fabric holds a graffiti-style print on a black button-up dress. The designs are innovative and trendy for stylish young adults.
Our graffiti carpet tile Poetry Slam by ege Carpets is an abstract print recolored into grey and black tones. Just like Ellery’s leather coat, our carpet design translates the graphics into a beautiful abstract pattern. The Poetry Slam is a part of our Highline Express Graphic Collection, which features typography designs and geometric patterns. Our unique pattern covered in graphics tells a powerful language perfect for commercial and office floor projects.
For our mood board, we use ege Carpets’ Poetry Slam recolored to black, along with other contract products. Nightingale by Anzea on MaterialBank is a shiny upholstery textile available in grey. We use Raw Concrete by Caesarstone, a solid monochrome tile that complements our other products. Impress Alligator by Garret Leather perfectly translates Ellery’s leather dress. The Black Tie Porcelain Panel by Crossville and Champagne Stainless by Formica also add flair to our mood board.
If you like this graffiti carpet tile and have any questions about our recolor options, feel free to reach out to one of our team members. All of our mood boards are part of the Easy Recolor concept, with tile and broadloom wall-to-wall available for your hospitality, commercial, and hotel carpets. Through ege’s recolor program, any of the designs can be recolored to suit your project needs. We offer a selection of nine carpet substrates and can provide samples within five business days.
