The Longji Rice Terraces located in Longsheng County, Guilin, were built during the Ming Dynasty and completed in the early Qing Dynasty. The rice terraces have a history of over 650 years. Longji Terraces are a group of rice terraces with fields distributed between 300 and 1100 meters above sea level. The terraces can be divided from east to west into three sections. The Jinkeng Red Yao Terraced Fields Spot, Ping’an Zhuang Terraced Fields Spot, and Longji Old Village Cultural Terraced Field Spot. The first two spots are the core and most breathtaking part of the historic terraces.

Ping’an Zhuang Terraced Fields consist of 15,862 pieces of rice terraces. The view is truly breathtaking with the various shades of green and the different levels of the ground. The Jinkeng Fields are inside a village with mountains on all sides. It is famous for its rich mineral resources of gold. These are three beautiful places to visit, including the West Hill Music platform, Large-scale Thousand-layer Terraces, and Golden Buddha Summit.
