Alma isn’t like one of the standard coworking spaces. The unique concept gathers restaurant, event hosting, and refined design under one roof. The interior is modern and straightforward, with recognizable Scandinavian vibes. The place features unique designer furnishings which support functionality but don’t compromise aesthetics. No wonder, as the founder owns the premium furniture brand Austiere. The soothing color scheme prevails through the space, featuring muted grey, blue, and green. We fell in love with the built-in shelves in sage tone, used for displaying fine ceramic pieces. Moreover, the monochromatic look complements the busy pattern of the zig-zag tiles.

As you try to find your calm working spot, you can’t miss the impressive royal blue seating area. A large camel rug anchors the spot while making a perfect contrast. The offices and meeting areas feature a carefully selected mix of greys and unfinished wooden textures. The minimalist coworking space design has no visual distractions to help the busy entrepreneurs focus and boost productivity.

YUST, ANTWERP

Yust amazed us with the bold and charming coworking space design so we couldn’t miss adding it to this list. Whether you are a passionate traveler or a digital nomad looking for your next retreat, this place has lots to offer. The concept includes combining a few functionalities under one establishment, such as a coworking space, restaurant, art gallery, hostel, and long-stay apartments. The result is an energetic space adorned with charming retro details.

Stephanie Parein is the designer that brought the space back to life while minding the functional aspects of the multi-purpose building. To introduce warmth, she played with vibrant orange contrasted with blue for a striking visual touch. The furniture brings a retro note to break down the industrial monotony.

We liked how they decorated every corner of this coworking space with fresh plants. While the indoor jungle is a spectacle on its own, we must say that the outdoor vertical garden exceeded our expectations. The large green wall brings freshness to the outdoor space, creating an inspiring corner for working. yust.com

FOSBURY & SONS, BRUSSELS

Fosbury & Sons amazed us with the unique co-working space design. The interior wasn’t the only thing that caught our attention, although it is pretty impressive. A distinctive building with a futuristic design hosts this excellent coworking space. Constantin Brodzki is the mastermind that designed this white modernist structure, dating from 1970. The specific design features large oval windows reflecting luminous amber shine.

Going East is the studio responsible for the remarkable design, meant to create a warm and welcoming ambiance. They kept the original wooden finishes, completing them to create a perfectly balanced mix between warm and cold tones. As you step inside, you can feel the warmth and coziness of the space. The coworking space design features a well-curated mix of natural wood textures while setting the overall mood. The furnishings are comfortable and stylish, and each piece is hand-picked to blend into the style. The addition of mid-century modern pieces brings charm and retro vibes.
