The Kon Tiki resort proved that we don’t need to travel far to experience the tropical atmosphere. The exotic interiors had lots of intriguing details so that we couldn’t miss seizing some inspiration. One of the tropical design features that caught our attention was the fantastic headboard. The kid’s room had colorful headboards crafted from bamboo branches. We loved how they came up with the original idea to stack painted bamboo. The charming bamboo carpet design starts with neutral taupe as a base color. We layered bamboo branches that overlap to bring playfulness. We adored the vibrant combination we saw at the resort.
