Christophe is one of our founders and creative director. His passions are interiors, cooking, and traveling the globe for new inspiration.

Jun Takahashi amazed us with his new Spring/Summer 2021 Women’s Collection featuring his collaboration with Sanrio at Paris Fashion Week. The lookbook titled The Sixth Sense shows six transitional parts, each with different themes according to the season. We are particularly drawn to the sixth The Royal Family of the Basement theme. This section features casual streetwear fashion styled with elegant jewelry and royal sashes. The ready-to-wear collection blends classic and modern, showing the transformation of Takahashi’s brand. It is the inspiration for our mood board featuring a green gradient carpet.

Just as the collection shows the transitional phase with his modern and bold designs, we use the leaf design from the new Reform Transition collection by ege carpets. The Leaf is a design by Manganese Editions that portrays foliage’s growth and decay throughout the various seasonal changes. The Leaf designs blend multi-tonal colors through gradient carpet tiles. From organic forest green to a golden brown, the colors show the transitional hues of a leaf from when they grow on a branch to when they fall on the ground. Like Takahashi’s designs featuring monochrome sweatsuits layered with bold statement jewelry, the Leaf design is in one color tone that can be blended with complementary colors. You can also mix two or three complementary colors to show a smooth gradient flow across your carpet flooring.

For our mood board, we set the gradient carpet Reform Transition Leaf by ege Carpets as our natural background. Paired with other matching products, including Alpi Verde Panel by Porcelanosa, Old Castle by Durasein, Cafe Blend by Walker Zanger, Island Weaves Japan Paperweave by Maya Romanoff, Sereno by Bernhardt Textiles, and Impress Braid by Garrett Leather.

Our Reform Transition Leaf Collection is available in tiles, planks, and broadloom carpets, with multiple color options. The collection is Cradle to Cradle Certified and is Green Label Plus certified. There is no minimum order requirement for wall-to-wall orders. If you like any of our designs below, please contact one of our agents. We will get you a sample within 2-4 days of delivery.
